Question E-fans

WHo what when how to and how much, this are all questions i hvae about e-fans.

1. Whos fans do muost of u guys suggest?

2. Weres a good place to buy em?

3. Whats a good price range to shop for?

4. How easy is the install?

5. When on my list of bolts ons should i try and tackle this?

6. Also im hearing alot about this nelson harness, whats the deal with this?

7. Should i mess with a IAt kit while im messing with the fans?

8.Is it easy to wire a aux switch for manual control of the fans?

6. It's the electrical harness, you'll need one from Nelson or someone else.

7. Nah.

8. Just have your PCM tuned for what temp the fans turn on and off at, a lot easier route.

Im new to the whole Gen III thing, but the among the offroad crowd the most popular electric fan is the Taurus 2 speed, and the Lincoln MK8 2 speed. In my offroad circles they are considered to have the most CFM of any easily avalible boneyard unit. Very cheap in boneyards.

ur talking about of of the licon and ford cars right? also where in chicago are u from?

5.First. I gained .25 on my 1/4 time, and picked up 2.3 MPG

pmed ya with some questions that ill repost here, one- how much, two- i heard that the car fans have a hard time cooling the fullsize trucks.

You heard wrong. The LS1 car fans are cooling some pretty high HP trucks on these forums.
