Default E-Fan Problem!!!! Need Some HELP!!!!!

I have an 05 RCSB Silverado. It had a 4.3 in it from the factory. The guy blew it up and then swapped for a 5.3 out of an 02. Everything has been changed and I just got through putting in a harness out of an 05 5.3. Everything has been changed to fly-by-wire. The only problem I am having now if the fans. I have e-fans on there right now, it's just that the guy that put the motor in wired them up to be on when the truck is on. What is going to be the easiest way for me to get it where I can turn them on and off. Would you just recommend putting a switch on it and calling it good. I would really like to have something that is on normally with the thermostat but if I wanted to turn them off I could. Could someone help me out please????

Didn't 05's come with efans from the factory? Since you're using an 05 harness, are you using an 05 PCM? I'd think that the efans would be plug and play, unless there is a necessary sub-harness. Or you could get the Nelson harness and have the PCM tuned to turn the efans on at a pre-determined temperature.

Well the guy that put the motor in wired them up directly and took out the fuse box with all of the fan relay's in them. That's why they won't turn on automatically.
