Hey guys. I got my motor swap done and the dynomax turbo muffler is killing it. I was going to put a cutout on the end of the y-pipe but I'm wondering if it would be any better with one on each side of the y? Obviously it would flow more, but would it flow enough to make a difference with 2 instead of one at the I-pipe? Thanks guys.

The only problem I've seen with two is that if they're too close to the oxygen sensors the free air gets to the sensors when you open the cutout and it starts dumping fuel in closed loop.

I like my simple ORY set up and have no interest in a true dual set up, but thanks for the suggestion. I have heard about people with that same problem about the truck dumping fuel so it seems that a single cutout at the y/I junction. Thanks guys.

Thanks man. I have the Cal-Speed LT's/ORY into the 2.75" factory I-pipe that's about 2' long into the 2.75" turbo muffler and that's it; no dump, no tailpipe, nothing. I actually had to have it welded to the ORY because no matter how tight I clamped it, it would blow completely off at WOT. Every time it blew off it felt like I hit it with a 50 shot lol. With the cutout open it'll be a 3" system open.
