Default E-Cutouts

Whats a good brand of electric cutout?? and where can i get them from for a decent price? I want to run two electric cutouts before the y pipe....would i beable to run them before the cats without getting it tuned? or would i have to run it after the cats...? They need to be very good quality for our winters and rain etc since its my daily driver...dont feel like spending 300 bucks and have them crap out or leak.

I got Race Ready from Jeg's for the '69- they seal very well and the quality is great. I don't have cats so I can't answer that question but I have seen people put them directly after the headers with no apparent problems.

I just checked those out on jegs and they look nice. How do these get mounted? do you have to make flanges to fit on each side of them or what?

You need a 3 bolt flange to mount them; something like this- http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...51312_-1_11529 You will probably need to use longer bolts though as the cutouts are pretty thick aluminum.
You can also extend pipe beyond the cutouts by using some header reducers, that's what I did on my setup.
