Default DMH E-Cutout Results

Okay, I've got them installed. I got the DMH dual 2.5" E-Cutouts with Flowtechs. We completely reworked my entire exhaust, from the exhaust manifolds on back (including TOG Headers install).
I have true dual 2.5" and the cutouts are in before the cats.
We moved the cats down more toward the mufflers so we could fit the cutouts in between the headers and cats without being to close to the front O2s.

First off, they leak HORRIBLY.
Is leaking expected when you go with E-Cutouts?? I was hoping not and am very dissapointed about this.

Secondly, when I hit the throttle with them shut, they seem to crack open a bit. It sounds like an even worse exhaust leak when they are cracked open like this, so then I'll reach down and bump the switch to get'em to shut again. (kind of annoiying after a while).

I emailed DMH....and am still waiting for a response after over a day and a half. I fully believe he will get it straightened out....he seemed super-nice on the phone.

Oh yeah, other than the 2 problems above, they are freakin' sweet!!!!
I didn't do it for a performance gain.....I did it for the cool factor!

I love the loud button.....its gonna be even better when the 6.0 is bored.
It already sounds good with the cam/headers and a hit of nitrous!

I love the freakin sound. Especially when a Civic with one of their big freakin. mufflers starts revving next to me. I love to crack the cutouts open and watch 'em hold there ears and roll their windows up.....hahahaha!

I had a friend that had them on a car, and they leaked on him too.

bmbutler: Can you show us any pics of your set-up? How far did you move the cats back? I was thinking of doing the same thing, just didn't think it could work out good. Thanks.

No, I think it worked out fine.
I don't have any pics but I'll try to get some.

I just really wish DMH would get back with me.
