Question e-cut outs?? exhaust...

i just bought pacesters Lts & ORY, what' s the purpose for having cutouts, do you gain any performance?

It depends who you talk to if you gain any power. If you do a search you will find many posts on the subject. Alot of people with FI or Nos have seen some good power increase. I myself have a cut-out for car shows and such. I put on a quiet muffler and you can barely hear my cam, so I open the cutout to be noticed. I did run better times at the track with the cutout open (whether it was the cutout or just better driving on my part idk). From what I have read, if you have your truck tuned with the cutout open you will see the best gains. Use the "search" button and you with find alot of reading material. Whether or not a cut-out helps performance doesnt matter to me to much because it sure is fun!
