Default Dynomax vs. Flowmaster

Which ones are louder on true duals(w/ magnaflow x-pipe)? 2 deltaflow 40 series flowmasters or 2 dynomax mufflers? Just wondering. I heard some people say that dynomax is louder. would there be any performance gain in switching?

Also, will mid-length headers have an effect on the way my exhaust sounds?

Flowmasters would probably be louder IMO. The Dynomax I had, sounded great, but had crappy resonance under a tow load. I switched to 2-Magnaflows. Now it is almost to quiet. As far as the headers, my AS&M's actually made mine quieter, but with much better tone.

My dual bullet dynomax's were just as loud as any flow's I've heard. But after the headers and removing the cats, the only muffler I could run was the borla's. Everything else was just too damn loud. Now I have one carsound hi flow cat and the Corsa and I love it....quiet idle, loud at WOT.

I know that with everything else being equal but the mufflers, my buddys with flowmasters was louder than mine with magnaflows.

Hey Red53, you wouldn't happen to have those Borla XR-1's still laying around would you? If so I'd be willing to buy them.
