Default Dynomax Ultra Flows

I got the truck started on the 12th.Had some ASM's custom cut for 3" collector and got some ultra flo's 3" in 3" out.I got it dualed straight out with no cats and a crossover pipe. The thing sounds like it has a big block. At idle it is pretty quiet, but at WOT it will blow the damn telephone poles over.I'm not to sure if I like them yet as far as them being quiet.I was told they are the quietest free flowing muffler out.So might just have to deal with it. All I can say is IT IS MEAN!!!Look out Parish...30lb injectors...

holy crap! that thing must be loud, you have the same exhaust as me except i got the dynomax super turbos with a s bend and a huge body. the ones you got are strait thru, you could probably stick your arm thru there, it must be crazy loud.

you know i have some 50's now(58lb at 58psi)

mix who did your headers because i was going to set my exhaust up like that. i alreadt have the 2-3" dynomax mufflers on the truck with the old motor.i want true duel 3" though. asm would not do the headers for me. So let me know about yours. did you get them recoated?
thanks

Well Ox I would save a spot but I am having oil pressure problems.I've changed the O ring, the pump, and the filter. We put a mechanical oil pressure guage on it and it has very low oil pressure at 1000 RPM's and will only get up to 35 at 4000 RPM's. So I will most likely be pulling the motor back out to do some more research.I have had the front of te motor apart 4 times now.I think we have everyone stumped on this one. But if we get it going we are hoping to get low 12's out of it with the FUNNY GAS.

Are you running a ported pump or one shimmed for higher pressure? I've seen a few of these aftermarket "modified stock" pumps exhibit the same behavior...ended up just replacing them and the problem disappeared.
