i know we have 2 seperate systems... but i have a small 6" maganflow muffler infront of my turbo and its pretty quiet, hitting a nice hill in OD at low RPMs and it does get somewhat loud... im hoping a bullet or another muffler will fix that...

i have a single 3"in 3"out with a 4" chamber i have lt's 3" y-pipe and a turn down right after the cab and it really likes to talk if loud is what you want a bullet is the way to go just a word of advise its an acquired taste you will either love it or hate i love mine its constantly turning heads but that can be good and bad thing at times

I love mine, 3" in and out, 18" case length (don't even know if they make them anymore). With lts and cats it's growl is deep at part throttle and roars at full throttle. One friend told me it sounded like a nascar, another like a big block muscle car, so mission accomplished I was afraid of it being a problem at cruise with the 4.11s, but it quiets down nicely, even dumped at the axle.
One of these days I'll get with one of my friends and get some sound clips

Ive got a 78 chevy with a 350, I originally ran dynomax long tubes, with the 3 inch bullets about 6 inches after the collector with 4 feet of 3 inch tubing with turndowns before the axle... It sounded like something from nascar cause I have a granny 4 speed with 4.10 gears so aroun 70 im running about 3200 rpm... then I decided to go a lil quieter or so I thought and put 2 three inch two chamber flows with no turndowns... and it got way deeper but you couldnt hold a conversation inside the cab... if you are looking for noise they work, but are more like a resonator and cut out the raspyness

Get the longest 6 or 8" round dynomax ultra-flow you can fit under your truck. The bullet mufflers won't control the sound enough. I'll be interested to see how much you pick up at the track when you get rid of the flowmaster.

A spintech will sound good. Especially if you still have cats a spintech pro street will be almost perfect. That is what I had but then I got headers and no more cats so it got a little louder than you would want so I put a spintech sportman on it and now it a lot more quiet.

Im NA on my 5.3 but the dynomax bullet sounds great. I did run a pipe out the back because the dump rattled all the plastic, but mines an "ol tater truck" and the farm roads have loosened the plastic Bs anyway. Im happy with it over flowmaster and magnaflow. Ive still got cats but put some shortys on. Why do exhaust if it isnt going to sound bad ***.
