I never have understood why anyone would want to dyno in anything but third with the 60e
3rd gear and the tall tires trucks use spin the rollers to fast. Most tires distort because of the lower speed ratings and this freaks out most people.

Ohh definately I'm believing you. I just want to see the #s because they seem a tad low. Now by a lot but a little and I wanted to see if the curve was nice and broad or if it was peaky or what.

well you can do a search and look at my last dyno there, that was in 3rd gear, and the reason they don't do 3rd gear pulls anymore is because to many people break there driveshafts. well thats what they told us.

cam specs are 223 225 564 571 114+3

Doesn't show AFR at all. Do you know what it was, ws it a smooth line?

Your HP doesn't look bad to me but your TQ is low for a 5.3L. That is easily a function of timing and fuel though because TQ can increase or decrease by a large margin even while HP stays within 10hp or so.

Peaking at 6,000rpm sounds about right though. My 226/.535/112 cam did the same thing with stock heads.

Not sure what it would have done with tuning but it picked up 2-3mph after this dyno.

I wasn't running cats at all on this one but as you can see our cams are fairly large so HP is over TQ. I wonder if you went real lean or rich near the end and that's why TQ took such a dive? Your HP isn't bad though.
