The top end looks strong, but I am not a fan of that cam at all. The first thing I always check on any dyno graph is the mid range torque. I think you would have been much better off with a TR220 cam. Check out this graph. At 4000 rpm's it's got 50 lb/ft of torque over your cam. I bet the discrepancy would be even more evident at 3000 rpms. It's a 5.3 with very similar mods to yours.

Baseline (Before Camshaft) Dyno Modifications:
K&N FIPK, Thorley Headers, custom y-pipe with no cats, 3" exhaust with cutout, 3.73 gears, electric fans, Diablo programmer.

After Camshaft:
TR 220/220 .551/.551 112 camshaft, ASP pulley, Yank 3000 converter, Thunder Racing custom tuning.

Torque curve seems weird.

I just swapped in a Hotcam in my bro's 4.8L '01 RCSB and Im impressed so far. All the parts were obtained pretty cheap (under $400) including misc gaskets and new lifters. The truck sounds nice and runs decent untuned, not bad for a budget cam. Pretty sure I can set up a race against a similarly setup truck with a different cam and see the difference between them.

Im not real impressed with this cam.. it made NO more torque.. the stock cam made the same.. but he wanted this cam..

I would have gone with a better cam myself..

Nice numbers.... I like looking at torque numbers on trucks... its gets them moving.. hp is just a added bonus... nice tq numbers..
