Nice that you got the redesigned ones - I hate that hump on mine. It's great you can actually feel the power increase. What it must be like to have a 6.0
How about getting those pictures up, already.

I have the new ones too. The headers fit great, but i know waht you are talking about with the 02 sensors being a pain. I also got the wrong extension with mine but my sensors seemed to reach alright. My midpipes fit like crap though and took some cusomizing to make them work.

Thanks guys. Let me answer some of your questions.
TIM Z - I fought them from the ground. I don't really have a good time estimate because I did it over a couple days. Worked for a while and then took a break type of thing. I'd guess working on the ground maybe 8 hours total(park to start) for the first time. A lift woulda been really nice.
DOOBIE - I just filled up with my first full tank after the headers and already notice an increase. I will keep everyone up to date on what I find. Thanks
NBred94 - The headers go in EASY from the bottom. The only thing I took out was the front driveshaft to make it easier to get to the bolts. The last bolt on the driverside has to be tightened from underneath but, it's not hard to get to with a ratchet wrench.
Oh, the dipstick tube does have to come out but, that is no big deal at all. It's REAL easy to install the headers themselves if you take the front wheels off and remove the inner plastic fenderwell, TONS of room to work.
Jim - That was probably a good idea to get them coated if you want them to look good for a long time. The stainless no matter how good you clean it seems to get "dirty" after a while. I don't care though so I left them uncoated.

V8- I don't have any pics, was too pissed about that damn O2 sensor getting stuck.
I will try to at least get a pic of the newly designed driver side header.
Ken - You need to swap in a 6.0L man. The power increase on the old 5.3 with these headers was ok but, with the 6.0 it's actually very noticeable.
Dub - What I did with the mid pipes was to space them with pieces of wood or whatever I had around before tightening any clamps. After they were tight everything stayed right where it was.
The angle at which the passenger side pipes came together made me kinda worried there might be a leak. I put copper gasket maker around the entire joint and then did the aluminum foil trick around that. Then I tightened the ever livin crap outta that clamp...no leaks.
Jim again - Take your time lining up and spacing the pipes.
The aluminum foil trick for those that don't know. If you have a band clamp connection you can take a piece of aluminum foil and fold it over so it's maybe 2" wide and about 6-8 layers thick. Then put it around the joint and slip the band clamp over that. It helps seal up possible leaks. I went one step further and also put some gasket maker stuff on the joint first.
If I missed anyone sorry.

One other thing about the O2 sensor extension. While I did get enough slack outta the stock harness for the front driver side O2 to reach it is very close to the collector like this and needs the extension. Dynatech is sending me the correct one but, I suggest you check your front sensor before ordering to see which connector you need. I'm not sure they really know there are different connectors on some trucks so the more feedback they get the better.
Here is a pic of my sensor connector(black) and the extension(white) that comes in the kit for these trucks.

I have no idea why GM did that. Both my fronts are like the black one and the rears are like the white one.
The guy I talked to at Dynatech said the black ones are a C6 corvette part. I said I wish I had a Vette.

The extension came in today so I won't have to worry about melting the O2 sensor wires anymore. WOOHOO!!
