Post Dynatech LT's On The Way!

I just purchased my Dynatech long tube headers w/ high flow cats today.
Were not cheap at all! I wish I would have purchased them a year ago. Would have saved me $150! I guess the retail price or sellers cost went up. MTI could not sell them to me for the $1,110.00 I was going to pay for them last year. I had to back out of them due to getting married. There cost was higher than last years.
Dynatech's cost must have went up. They must be very proud of their headers! Hope they don't have any dings in them. They will be going back if they are just scratched for the price I paid!

I got mine 2 years ago for $1200 (take it for what it's worth)

Edit:

BTW, you will love them (except for routing the #5 & #7 wires). They are easy to install. I did mine by myself.

I keep on hearing good things about the Dynatech system. Good choice. They are expensive but you get what you pay for. Keep us updated on the install and performance.

I paid right at a grand for them about a year ago. SDPC was having a special on them. I have never regretted it. Hands down the best set of headers I have ever owned. You will like them.

Congrats on the purchase. You will love them, or at least I do.

Question

Any advise on the problem with the plug wires? Is there a kit that I need that retains the wires out of the way of the headers? I've heard that there was a kit or someone here that makes a kit.
Do I need different plug wires or will the stockers still work? I didn't want to have to change them out yet if I didn't need to, but up for whatever needs to be done right.
Thanks guys.

The plug wires for #5 and #7 cylinder will lay on the header and fail from the heat. I haven't seen any kits but for it but I did what couple other have done. Here is a pic posted by Snakeoiler I think. Works great. You should probaly do this with the with the manifolds off and before you put the headers on. Kind of tight there. Factory wires work fine.

Since every aftermarket wire I have found is longer than stock, your best bet is to stay with the stock wires, you will just have an easier time with it. I can give you a couple of links that might help:
