Default Any Factory True Duals Made?

Would the 6.0 cat-back it use the same exhaust hangers as the factory cat-back? Would this be even flow better than the 5.3 Dynatech header system and aftermarket cat-back?
I never thought of that one. Anyone know if any of our trucks came with true dual exhausts from the factory (two cats, X-pipe, two mufflers, etc)? If so, are there any true dual cat-back systems? Can they be retrofitted to the single muffler design?

I think there are one or two people out here with the 4.8's or 5.3's running the 6.0 dual system. I don't remember names, unfortunately.

I can check out my exhaust hangers, for anyone interested in seeing if they're the same between trucks. I imagine they are...

According to their website, the 6L header system is a different part # than the 4.8/5.3L system. Don't know what the difference is, though.

Showing my ignorance...who manufacturers your catback system? Your signature says that you've got a B & B catback....

The 5.3 header system has a y-pipe, while the 6.0 system doesn't. Take the header system made for the 6.0 and put in on my 5.3. Then use a cat-back made for a Silverado SS or Sierra Denali. Would I then have something like a dual exhaust?

6.0 header system

4.8, 5.3 header sytem

my .02: I love my Dynatechs. I think they are well worth the money and are one of the highest quality exhaust systems out there.

Billy Boats cat back system for the Denali and SS does not have a Y-pipe, X-pipe, or H-pipe. It uses a single muffler.

Anyone know if the stock Denali / SS exhaust uses a single muffler also? Anyone know the pipe sizes on the stock system before and after the muffler(s) or the pipe sizes before / after the muffler on a Denali / SS cat back system?

I've got a 5.3 that needs the tailpipe replaced. I'm trying to decide whether I should just do a cat-back or the entire system. If I can go to a true dual exhaust set-up (and it's worth it) I would do that now. If not, I'll probably get a Borla cat-back now and do headers / catalytic converters later.
