i just got a new set of mufflers, right now the exhaust is coming straight out of the mufflers, would dumps affect the sound at all.

 

They will, i had a glasspack with no dump or tailpipe and i couldn't stand it, added 16 inch pipe dump right before axle and made a huge difference.

 

definitely. The dump straight off the muffler (turndown) makes it way quiet. I have a tail pipe after mine that kinda points out and down ish and it sounds good up. Little raspy (no cats) but its still kinda loudish on accel

 

really? thats what i have on my bullet, i figured it would be louder because of the echoing effect? ive been wanting to bring it out to the rear but figured it wouldnt sound as good
