Default Dump/Turn down w/stock muffler

Does anyone have a turn down tip ONLY with the stock muffler? Did it make it louder?
V8 guys

a turn down would actually make it more quiet...i don't know how to describe the sound but it was noticibly louder...just go ahead and cut it off and see what you think...if nothing else it looks a helluva lot better

I wouldn't think a turn down would make it quiet.. I would expect it to make it louder as you get the rumble off the ground effect.

I don't got a stock muffler but I have two turn downs that dump right behind my bumper. I don't like how tail pipes look so you know..

If you want to make it really simple just do this...

I just cut the tail pipe off. Right before the last bend, You cant see it from any angle from the rear. It only took me a few seconds with a Sawzall....

well another reason is that the bend is bumping the rear end cause of the drop. i might just get the turn down welded on.
