I just Got my dual spin tech system installed yesterday and I am very happy with it. It has a Great sound. I used the stock 2.75 pipes into a Magnaflow X-pipe, then they went into 2 3" spin tech mufflers. It has a very deep and mellow sound. . . until you rev it up, then it sounds Mean as hell. I love it. The performance increase is very noticeable as well. Now i just need to get to the track and see what it does

I just got mine on too although my install didn't go quite as well as yours. To make a long story short, I bought the complete system with X-pipe. Everything was going great till I went to put the muffler section on, that's when I found they had sent the Extended cab model. Turns out that's all they make. I cut out all the straight sections but it's still about 3 inches to long to put on the side exit part. So I still have some work to do. I've emailed them about this, what should have been a fairly easy bolt on has turned into a major project which was what I was trying to avoid.
Performance wise it's great.

I didnt buy their bolt on kit because i thought it was way overpriced. Sorry to hear about the problems you are having, they should have said something about the extended cab thing.
Im really happy with the setup and am planning on using their mufflers on everything from now on
heres a few pics of my setup. . .

I like 00Silverado's setup. I've got the SpinTech X pipe but I"m not sure it's any better than the Magnaflow. I got the kit through a dealer that's not a sponsor here so if you'd like their name, please message me. They included the freight in the price. The mufflers I got are the Pro-Street, and they run about $70 each.
It's my birthday and I thought I'd treat myself to an easy install. Realistically, these would be easy to install, they're very compact. I haven't got the side pipes on yet due to lack of time to modify what came with the kit but I've already had people roll down their windows at lights wondering what I've got in this.
Powerwise a noticable increase at 4000 RPM and up. With what I know now I'd skip buying the kit, just get the mufflers and go from there. I'll try to get a sound byte when I get the exit pipes on.

Cool i was planning on doing a settup similar to OO's and wanted to use spintech mufflers to be diffrent. But i guess it would not be diffrent any more. So how does it sound mainly at wot because i am tired of there dyno max even though other people tell me it sounds good i think it sounds like glass packs. I want a nice sound with out rasp.
Thanks Ryan

I didnt buy a kit, I had a shop do it for me, He used a magnaflow X-pipe because it fit on there the best and then used 2 3" pro street mufflers, He sold me the mufflers for $60 a piece, I got a pretty good deal. Ill try to get a sound clip.
The truck definately pulls harder all the way around, but it is felt most in the higher RPMs. And it seems like it takes less effort to pass on the freeway as well. Gas mileage has definately gone up on the freeway as well.
Ive never heard a truck with a Dyno max so I cant really compare the 2, but there is a little rasp when it gets up in the revs, but its not very much, the truck sounds really mean, I love it
