dual setup?
#1
Alright I Am Fixing To Put True Duals On My Truck And I Was Wondering If They Will Be Able To Run Each Side Of The Exhaust Down Each Side Of The Truck Or If They Are Going To Have To Put Them Both Down The Same Side, And If They Do Have To Put It Down One Side Will It Hurt The Performance If One Side Of The Exhaust Has A Lot Longer Piping Coming From The Header Going To The X Pipe.
I Have An O4 Gmc Sierra Rcsb Z71. I Am Putting Asm Headers, Into High Flow Cats, Into A Magnaflow X Pipe, Into Dual Dynomax Bullets. Please Help!

Most of the true-dual setups that I've seen have positioned the two mufflers side-by-side (rotated 90 degrees) in the stock location. Personally, I don't think you'll experience any performance loss with the exit pipe being longer on the driver's side. What size pipes/tips are you going with?

As stated above, both pipes will run down the passenger side due to the fuel tank taking all of the space on the drivers side. Now if you put a custom fuel cell in the bed, that would be another story.
As for one run being longer than the other, the x-pipe helps balance all of that out.
