Default Dual exhaust set-up

I'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times, but I'm new to the truck scene. I recently sold my C5 Vette to start / fund my pro-touring Camaro build.

I have purchased a 99 Silverado RC shortbed stepside and I would like to do a TRUE dual exhaust system. I'm buying TSP Stainless headers, cam and TBSS intake (on recommendation from a site member) and want to run a dual exhaust set-up. Probably looking to dump the exhaust right at the rear axle under the truck

Do any of you have this type of set-up and what mufflers do you recommend ?

Pic of new truck so you guys can see what I'm working with.

Thanks in advance for you comments and help.

i run V-bands at the header collectors to 3" pipe then into high flow cats then to an x-pipe then to two borla Xr-1 mufflers dumped over the rear axle. its loud and sound great. everything is swept to the passenger side since the gas tank is on the drivers side

Thanks for the info.

Wheels are 22" All Terains. Not sure on the tire sizes since I purchased it that way. The truck is getting some repair work done at the moment so I can't give you the tire sizes.

I'm hoping Corsa has some nice mufflers that I can get.
I had a Corsa Xtreme catback on my C5 and it had a GREAT sound to it. I may just have to call Corsa to see that they recommend.

I'm looking at the Speed Engineering headers.

My question is WHO makes a true dual set-up and what are other members using ?

A buddy of mine has a dual set up and it looks nice and clean. Everything was v-banded or welded up. He has the TSP 1 7/8 headers with the 3" Y-Pipe! The Y section was cut out and a custom made X-Pipe ( 3" in / 2.5" out ) was fabbed up and V-Banded into place. Behind the X is 2.5" stainless tubing that runs down stream into a pair of Borla Pro XS mufflers. He decided to run his out the back and it exits in the center of the bumper kind of like a corvette. Looks really good and sounds awesome.
