Dry Shot Harmful to Stock Engine?
Will a dry shot (75hp?) hurt a stock engine if not used too much? I don't know a thing about nitrous (duh) so I'm asking...cheap hp.

So in a 12second run you just took out 120,000 miles of life from your engine and tranny? God damn, 2 12s passes and it's time for a new motor. hahahaha You're teacher was a dolt.
In all seriousness. Nitrous is just as bad as any other power adder that gives you a substantial increase in power. More power always = reduced longevity.
A dry shot when used in moderation will work great as long as you have sufficient sized injectors and fuel pump. If your injector duty cycle is real high you run even more of a risk in blowing something up. All it takes is for one injector to lock up and you'll be looking up local junk yards for a new motor. So if you can't afford to break ANYTHING then I sugest waiting till you can afford it to put the kit on. Just my .02.

Thanks for the replies....injector duty cycles and too lean possibilities...reminds me how little I know about computer-controlled engines.
One thing I was wondering...before or after the MAF sensor matter?...I have a open air filter.
