how many of you guys are running a dry shot of laughing gas??
im thinkin of getin a kit from a friend of mine. he had it on a v6 camaro i think he was running the 75 wet shot($300). he has 100 and 150 jets but he was scared to try them. i was goin to get something like the 50 or 75 dry? i have never messed with NOS on a EFI motor. only a few carbs. (i just bolted things together for my uncle, 400ci sb in a 77 rclb 4x4. haha mud bog sleeper) i have read bout these guys putting wet and some putting dry on f-bodies. with window switches and the such.
is it possible to get the kit from him and set it up for dry shot in my K&N intake?? with out the window switches and other stuff?? my friend has the curly cord and everthing. so all i would have to do is hook everthing up and put a master switch on it. and when i want to use it i could just pull my cup holders in my middle console out and just flip the "master" switch, and spray..
i have a HPPIII and FIPK on my truck. could i do a 50 or 75 dry shot with out blowin my motor??

When I first put on my 100 dry shot, I was running a HPP3 and K&N GenII intake. Just trim off the deflector on the end of your nozzle (so that it sprays straight out the end) and thread it in the metal end of your filter. I had a .052 jet in it and it worked great even with the 93oct tunning of the hypertech.

First off you proabbly would hardly feel a 50 dry shot and a 75 dry shot wouldnt be much better but if either start out with a 75 dry and then youll go to a 100 dry real soon! My buddy has a dry kit and he tapped the nozzle in the middle of the K&N FIPK2 cone filter and it works fine! All he has is a solenoid,n20 line from bottle,n20 from solenoid to filer, nozzle, and a switch---nothing fancy! He has since added a wet kit along with the dry kit but the dry worked fine! Honestly I would just go ahead and start with a 100 dry shot. I would get a custom tune if I were you especially it being a dry kit! Also get rid of the platnium plugs because you dont want to spray those! Get some NGK TR6's or even a TR55 and run 93 octane when spraying at least!

oh yea i forgot i do have TR55's only have bout 2500 miles on them. and new wires. i would love a custom tune but i like the HPPIII. well i like it so at any time i can just change things. but if i were to sell the HPPIII i would surely get a tune. problem is i wouldnt know which one to get and what would be a good price on one?? oh yea flowmaster 40 series soon
