prolly cause it gives it the widest range of adjustment.. get it too high or to low and it cant handle a surge? just my first thought.

On my buddys 5.3 truck we have tried everything, even swapped my TB and sensors over to it and played with the tune. nothing works for a baby cammed 5.3 trying to get it to idle. so im thinking of drilling out the blade. i have a spare from my samurai if screw it up.

Strange. Mine idles perfectly fine, even with bone stock tune (with the idle raised up a bit) and the stock TB. I have noticed that throttle cracker can sometimes cause a surging idle, but only when moving. Adjusting the idle spark correction also helped a bit.

I just looked today and mine was idling at 92-95 steps when hot.

I just find it weird that Justin couldn't get it to idle right if y'all saying its in the tune...

Gunna try a new IAC, maybe it is bad?? Any way to test it? What brand would y'all recommend? They are over a hundred new from speakership, and eBay has a few cheap ones.
