Ok, still no luck getting GM to pony up. Errrrr.....

So it's coming home today and I'm going to get started on it next week. I think I have all the parts down, just going to stick with stock and delete the AFM.

I know it needs a new valley cover, was going to use one off of a 4.8 (GMparts 12598832).

I was going to use a cam from an 09-L9H (GMparts 12623022)

Can anyone confirm these are the correct parts? Of course all the other gaskets, LS7 lifters, LS2 chain and dampener etc. Was just going to keep the VVT and delete the AFM.

How's this sound?
