That is why I will never run toilet parts on my truck to save a buck. Ferncos are not ment for high temps. They may last NA but you are far from NA.

timing is working fine with no maf or IAT, i just let it set that code for low maf and then it worked fine. i did get some kind of odd code the first run i made about ETC performance and it went into reduced power mode. i shut that test off with flashscan but didn't get to make a full run to try it before the coupling came apart.

the coupling was a temp fix. i ordered a real one on sunday and it should be here tomorrow.

Nice work on the timing thing Jim!

The ETC Performance deal may bite you -- mine was shutting of the TB, but if yours isn't maybe turning off the code will work (for me, it wouldn't throw the code, but still turned of the TB and I had to clear codes to get it back lol) Like I said in the other post though, 15k6 ohms cleared it up for me. The only issue I have now is that when the truck is running, the TPS ADC counts in MS are lower than reported with the engine off and key on. I just let the MS report 85% for wot lol

I would love to be able to use a nice close up picture of the melted coupler for our "This is why you should use silicone" page!

Those things cant be rated for much over 180F
