Done my searching, cam questions
#1
Hey guys, talked to comp cams today, I told them that I was thinking of a 212/218 low lift for my truck. Gave them the specifics of my truck and they said that it would be a great cam. They also said that the 212/218 high lift would better.
The question of mine is which one would you guys suggest?? Would it be ok to go with the high lift, and let her scream at 6400rpm, with 150,000 on the clock? Or would I be better off with the low lift and stay under 6000rpm?
How much gain would I get from the high vs low?
I have a stock stall, and won't change it unless trans blows and I have to drop it for that reason. I also have stock manifolds, and don't have plans to change them out. It's a 4x4, cai, magnaflow cat back.

Did the L33 come with 243 heads?
If so then I'd go high lift, I honestly don't think there will be a noticeable difference between the two, but the 243 heads might be able to make a bit more use out of the higher lift. If they're 706 or equivalent heads, I'd probably just stick with the low lift unless you're planning for a head swap in the future.
