Default Doing my own maintenance from now on, any pointers?

I used to go to the dealer or quick lube places but just not knowing if it was done right makes me want to do my own maint. from now on! Can you tell me if there is anything I'm missing? Truck is a 2003 Silverado Z71 reg cab and also a 2002 Camaro LS1 V8.

Oil change

Lube front end

Front and rear diff, transfer case

Transmission

PS fluid

Break fluid

Coolint

Is there anything else that needs greasing or fluid change out? I tried to lube the slip youk and drive shafts but could not find a grease fitting. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Yeah, especially before putting it in the tailpipe

But yea, everything the guys said. Pick up one of those Helms or Chilton books at Pep boys or any automotive store. It tells you how to do it all and has pictures too if you can't read (hint hint Slowverado )

Bwhahahaha! I recommend some KY for the rod Yelo is talkin about...unless you can find a readily available female to polish it for ya...

Who'da thunk that maintainence on the truck would be soooo much fun.

Depending on miles and the area you live in you might want to check your cabin air filters. I never heard of it till I read about it in the owners manual and did mine. Those two filters were full of pieces of leaves and all kinds of dirt and stuff. I believe I changed them at 20,000 miles. Makes me wonder about all the cars out there with no cabin air filter.
