does cometic make a MLS gasket for the 5.3?
im lookin to port my 243's on my 07 and i want to use cometics and arp studs. do they make mls gaskets for it? if so i cant find where they are

You can custom order any bore size and thickness that you need from cometic, and they're only a few bucks more expensive usually. I'm pretty sure you'd want to use a headgasket with the same bore size as what the heads originally came on. maybe somebody else will chime in to confirm this.
