Finally got the y pipe fitted and finalized
Started out with a Y pipe from LPP, to go along with my stainless works headers, since stainless works doesn't sell a 3 inch y pipe set up(yet). The plan was to join to beasts that were not supposed to be mated, we did..
Was going to run it like a standard Y in front of the member but didn't want to buy the extra elbows and what not. We went with what we had just to see if it would turn out nice, it did. So we cut a lil here and some there.. Fitting the pieces together like puzzle. Had to trim the trans member a touch to get the merge and drop down to clear on the driver side(actual bracket, not the member).. No biggie.. So here are some pics.. I might off these to SW's to see if they will copy it, might get some money out of the deal.. This is def alot easier then having it infront of the trans member, as far as removing it It looks like the Y doesn't run parallel with the back of the trans member but it does, just looks like that cause it does have to go into a slight angle to meet, but we went with what was avail.... Later this week it is going to have the 4 inch stainless exhaust ran.. I am very very happy with the out come, I tell you one thing it isn't going to get much better with out having a mandrel bender, 90s and 45's at your finger tips... Thanks for checking it out...

looks good for sure, I am having a small issue running pipe for my 02 due to the cross member bracket. I may try some grinding myself. I am just trying to run 2 18" pices of pipe with turn downs straight back. (more track truck only)
