Do you have this problem?

So i drive a trusty ol 4.8 x cab s bed....
And i like to set the cruise control at about 80-85 in the 75 highways here in Texas. And theres those ******** that drive the speed limit ( JK i do most the time tbh.) I wont lie, this truck is bone stock with the 3.4something rear end, And i seem to always govern out before i reach the back bumper of the car im passing... If it happens alot to you, you will under stand that its hard to pass someone while waiting for the governor to kick back on.... I can govern out 3 times before i pass someone, When i govern out im in about 3 1/2 grand. WTH chevy? Why not set governors more around 115-120? I have more than enough passing power, but power does nothing with a power cutting ecu. Lol idk why im posting this, i guess i just want to see if its my generically weight enhanced right foot, or my teenage lust for going fast.

Not really the case. For instance going down 281 you hace a bunch of pudnockers that are pulling campers and can't keep their speed up in no passing areas and want to speed up 20 mph where you can pass.

My point exactly!!! Its a 75 mph speed limit on alot of it and they want to do 55 or less and 80 mph in the passing lane. Or the the race of the retards when you actually get a climbing/passing lane over a hill. I hated trying to pull a truck on a trailer down that highway. I had the power to maintain the speed limit at 2,200 rpm in 4th gear, but the dumbasses in front kept causing me to have to slow down and loose momentum to the point I was going up hills at 45 mph and 5,000 rpm in 2nd.

I have that problem in my wifes Sierra, out past weatherford the speed limit goes up to 75 from 65, most people dont adjust to the speed limit change. other people are already going 80 something so I have to get in the gas and it always limits out just as its getting fun. If we take my sierra we dont have that problem, but my truck doesnt have enough room for a kid and 2 dogs. so I get frustrated with her truck alot. plus the way the 6 speed shifts and the DoD works.
