Default DIY Catch-Can Update

I took the little filter off my catch can from lowe's and look at the difference:

It's usually only an 1/8 of that filled. That's approximately 3,000 miles or medium to hard driving. I would advise anyone that has done one like mine to take the filter off as well.

Have you been getting oil in the hose on the intake side? I ran that same setup for a few weeks until I noticed that the reservoir wasn't getting any fuller. When I pulled the vacuum hose to the intake, it was saturated with oil. Seems like the reservoir would hold a certain amount, then the rest just got sucked through.

Yeah, I was getting oil up the hose too. After I took out the little white filter it has stopped though. You'll be amazed how much stops after the filter is removed.
