Disable all TQ management/HPTuners?
Does everyone agree that this is how you do it:
DISABLE ALL TORQUE MANAGEMENT – This will eliminate all torque management within the PCM.
A. Open the VCM Editor>Edit>Transmission>Torque Management
B. Set Abuse Mode Enable = False
C. Set Abuse Mode RPM, Abuse Mode TPS and Abuse Mode Speed = 0
D. Select>Abuse Mode Torque Reduction vs. RPM. Set all values = 0
here is the other info I have found:
Engine
Set your Max Engine Torque vs Gear to 640
(If 1279, already disabled from factory. 1279 and 640 will yield the same result)
Set your Max Engine Torque constant to 640
Enter abuse mode test > 8000
Enter abuse mode test < 1
Automatic Trans
Trans Abuse Mode enabled "No"
Torque Reduction vs Torque vs Shift tables to Zero

I whould zero out the following tables
Engine>TM>General>Retard vs. %Torque reduction
Transmission>TM>Torque reduction vs. Torque vs. shift Normal + performance
Engine>TM>General>Retard vs. %Torque reduction
Transmission>TM>Torque reduction vs. Torque vs. shift Normal + performance

I would be carefull about removing all the torque managementwith a Radix setup.I personally think that going with vacuum modulated line pressures is the way to go with a Radix.

whats the desired torque in the trans TM table do?
because I "desire" alot of tq
also dfco will kick in if you set your shift rpm above 5900
edit>engine>fuel>dfco>cutoff rpm vs gear and etc cutoff vs gear
I also found that the IAT adder can take away alot of timing
and is set fairly conservative in stock form
seems like it could really hurt you FI guys since it starts pulling timing at 104*

Vacuum moduation won't let your line pressures drop during a full throttle shift and your PCM can and sometimes does with cooked clutches being the end result.Transgo does a really neat shift kit with vacuum moduation with a check valve to keep boost from damaging the tranny. You install the kit and then remove all torque management, then set your shift points and converter lockup stratigy then you are good to go.
