Did you change over your accessories to get that intake to fit?

It will work on a 5.3, but it takes a lot of mods to make it work. I ended up cutting off a piece of the alternator bracket that the pully is attached to. This clears the way for the intake to sit all the way down. Plus i had to reroute my belt and get a smaller size. Next i had to swap out the waterpump for a corvette pump just because they come out the front "clears the way for the intake tube". At the same time i changed the spout of the pump to the 5.3 waterpump and angled it up. Then I had to cut off the injector rail mounting tabs and make my own out of orchards finest pipe mounting brackets. This requires you to also make a new cross over tube from rail to rail. If you look close you can see "pictures didnt come out very clear". It isnt hooked up in the picture though. There is only one sensor i didnt use "fuel vapor sensor" it didnt really matter to me though because i wasnt using it any way with my cell.

I will be happy if the track officials tell me i have to have a cage. That means it's in the ball park of where i want to go.

Dont know some where around 200-300 shot. I will probably start off with a 200 and work my way up. It depends on the competition. We have some fast guys out here. I want to make sure that she's ready for most of them.
