Different brands of O2 sensors

Bump....I'm curious to know too...I've heard mixed reviews about Bosch, and have had bad experiences with most Bosch stuff, so I'm sceptical. I like OEM the best, but they're also the priciest, and they fail just like any other...

Ive brought up the denso o2`s before. their tips seem like they`d get a better reading (?)rather than the little slits it has regtangular perforations. but it seems everyone prefers the stockers. when should they be changed, anyway? Ive got 170k on my truck and as far as i know they`ve never been changed.

Denso makes excellent electronics, I wouldn't hesitate to run their products for a second. They've actually made stuff for GM in the past....
As for when to change O2 sensors, I usually go by when they start to get lazy. If you have scanning software you can monitor O2 sensor activity to make sure that they're switching from rich to lean rapidly like they should. With 170k on the ticker, it couldn't hurt to replace them, but it may not be necessary if they're functioning properly.
