Default Difference between 4L60E and 4L65E

I just wanted to know the difference between the 2 transmissions? Are they the same cases with different internals? I know the 65 is stronger, but what are somethings that make it stronger? Is it a direct replacement for the 60?

5 pinion planets. I have no idea what that actually is or how it increases strength. It uses the same case and is a direct replacement.
