Diff. between SS 6.0 and other 6.0?

Well, I've raced a 6.0L 345Hp SS silverado in my 6.0L 325hp Denali truck stock vs stock and have help my own nicely. So I guess mine has "grunt" also

Innali, Im Not Dissing Your 325Hp 6.0L At All, Ive Driven All Three Versions Of The 6.0L's And Im Impressed By All Of them. But Out Of all Of them Ive Driven The LQ9 Was One Of The Most Impressive (Dont Get Me Wrong. . Im For Any And Every New GENIII And GENIV Gm 6.0L). I Know There STrong Engines.

nitrous loves compression. you dont need to lower your compression to run nitrous, there is alot of misinformation on this board about that. if you are going to run a big shot of spray at the track, you should be using race fuel anyway.

What about cylinder heads? All aluminum heads are the same casting numbers on 6.0s, LQ4 and LQ9?

All 2000 LQ4s are iron? or no? I am looking at a 2000 LQ4, the man said they were aluminum heads, if they are aluminum are they the good ones? If there is any dif at all.

I need this info quick! THANKS!

Higher Compressoin ratio gives better gas mileage!
