Sorry to sound stupid, What is the Radex?
It would be 03 2500HD,EC,4x4,loaded,ram air,free mods,exhaust,and LS1 Edit tuned.
Im guessing high high 15's.

The Radix is an inefficient supercharger w/an inferior design.

Actually, it's a tire smoking intercooled blower setup.

For an HD, I'd go with a duramax and a power box. You'd spend loads of cash to reach that much power with either of the gas motors, and you still would never touch the fuel economy. The big DMAX can reach 20+ mpg.

Yeah, We had a welder on the job one day with a Duramax rig. He had built a custom heavy duty steel bed on the truck for all his welding equipment and was talking about how the truck was getting close to 20mpg while weighing something like 12000+lbs with everything on it. I thought that was pretty good.

After owning a Juiced Duramax for a year I will never buy a big-block truck again. My old truck had a 8.1 and burned 102 qts of oil in 58,000 miles.I would get 10-11mpg empty and 7mpg pulling my 28ft car hauler. My current Dmax truck would kill it in a race and get 19mpg@80mph empty,14mpg pulling the race car.Oh almost forgot it runs 14's too.

Any idea on 1/4 mile times on the 6.0 2500 HD with small mods?
Thanks for all the info
15.99 on hot summer afternoon without adjusting anything for the dragstrip not even tire pressure. Could have taken out the RF headlight (Ram Air), taken off tailgate etc. engauged tow/haul which adds firmer shifting w/ predator.
I don't regret passing up getting a 8.1, truck rides nice on the street.
Some magazine tested this truck or similar ones getting 16.5 to 17.1.

I like the UPD intake I have. The filter stays cleaner ALOT longer without being open to the engine compartment like Air raid intake my dad has. That thing gets dirty quick.

The UPD can be bought here.

http://www.ultimatepd.com/

LEAVE the screen in the MAF.

An ASP pulley would be OK for a little extra jolt but, if you're going to tow with it I wouldn't do a whole lot to it. The stock clutch fan is probably better for towing apps than electrics. Hmmmm....maybe a ported TB also. Of course headers would be nice. I have the FLP/Dynamaxx headers and they just came out with the system for the HD6.0L They're a little exspensive but, were easy to install and have been trouble free so I'm happy. A HPP3 or custom tune will also get ya a few extra horses to pass with.

Trying to think of other easy stuff to do.

Congrats on the new truck.
