did a cam swap quick question

Installing the cam itself will make the PCM think that there's a misfire due to the characteristics of the added overlap of an aftermarket cam. You need to soften up the misfire counter in the tune.

Had the same issue after a cam swap, had Justin (Blackbear) adjust the misfire counter, problem solved.

the two wires that connect to the cam sensor are easy to screw up if you are playing back there.

I agree about tuninng being the best fix
