Default detonation between every shift, help!

Hi, why do you guys think that everytime I race in the sand in 4LO, the truck shuts off-detonates-then keep running again till the next shift does the same thing???
it even unlocks my doors when it shuts off in every shift point!
do you all think is timing issue? thats what I have been told by locals but they know nothing about tunning...
even worst, my best time without nitrous is 6.00sec and my best time WITH nitrous is 6.00sec.. what could be wrong??
Thanks in advance!

How much timing does it have on the nitrous vs NA? If you aren't setup to pull timing on the spray then that is your pronpblem.

That shift is probably so violent that a ground (or power) is breaking somewhere for the PCM and the truck thinks the key is being taken out. Also, 4LO isn't a racing gear- the gears get so short speed-wise that the engine spends just as much time reaching the limiter between shifts regardless of how much power you dump into it.

I dont know how much timing Nelson end up pulling in my computer cause it was a while ago but if I remember right he had my tune to run safely with 150hp of nos so what do you think i am at??
The problem is that most of the time I race without NOS cause of the detonations (i dont want my intake to pop out)
Also I think timing is affecting my daily driving..
And we only race 100 meters, it is a short race, thats why we all race in 4LO, I have tried racing in 4HI and I am left waay far behind cause everyone has the 4LO engaged..
Thanks guys!
Anyone else?

Only 100meters, you're spending more time shifting than actually racing lol. But dying and detonating is an electrical failure of some sort.

I'd also say dump the Iridium plugs, go with coppers for high RPM racing.

I am spending more time shifting than racing thats for sure, but it is because looks like a gun fight while i am racing and my truck gets stuck between every shift making from 1-3 detonations, it sounds like a .45 cal!
And there are races every weekend and they all use 4LO, there is no lag in between their shifts believe me bro
