Destroked 6.0L? Need Info

What are your thoughts on this set up? 6.0L block bored 30 over, 4.8L crank, forged internals (plus whatever can be done to the 4.8 crank) cam (not sure on specs, but thinking of something that makes good power up to 7000rpms), 6.0L worked heads, a nice big turbo, a little juice, hamm headers, pulleys, fans, custom tune, 4.10 gears, 3400 stall, and a well built 4l60E.
Basically, it makes a 6.0L a 5.4L (333ci 5.46L) but you can spin it up pretty high. For a turbo the higher the rpms, the higher the boost. That's how I understand it anyway. I'm pretty sure it would move out of the hole pretty good too.
Please comment, I'm curious if this would be worth it, or just better to go all out with a 408.

Why?Unless you are trying to decrease engine displacement to be legal for a racing class there's no reason to destroke the motor.I think you would be missguided to think you'll find a performance advantage by revving a destroked motor higher to make the same horsepower at higher revs at the expense of low and midrange power.

I know there is not a performance advantage compared to a 408, but saving $2500 on a Lunati 4340 4" crank, makes a big difference. Trying to save for the above mentioned mods is gonna take long enough, so if I can make comparable power and save a considerable amount of money on a crank it might be advantagious. Thanks for the input guys!!

I've got my stock crank, so I don't really need one, but how much you want for it? the more I can keep on my 5.3L the more I can sell it for, so I might be interested. Do you think the stock 4.8 or 5.3/6.0 crank will hold up with this setup? Also, I know there is no replacement for displacement, but running higher rpms means more boost, so do you think it's possible to make similar power compared to a 6.0 or 408? Running more boost means more stress on the internals, so would there be anything I could do to a 4.8 crank to make it stronger?

i really dont know what you just said, lots of conflicting info there.
the truth is you can make as much power with any displacement as you want, just turn up the boost. It will be much easier to make the power with a 409 vs a 5.4 or 4.8 or whatever.
i would rather run 8psi on a 409 and get 600hp then run 15 psi on a 4.8, they both might be the same hp but the 409 will run on pump gas.
any of these stock cranks will be strong enuff, there are guys over 700rwhp with stock cranks on this site.
from what i have seen the 5.3 you have there is worth about nothing, the heads might get you a few hundred but the rest of it is prety much worth nothing. use any parts off of it you can, can't remember if the stroke is the same for a 5.3 and a 6.0 though.
what is your budget? and what are your hp goals? stock 6.0 with just rod bolts and forged slugs may be all you need. a built 409 with a turbo set up will be capable of ALOT of HP, are you shooting for 700+hp cause that is what that set up would be able to do, that means big fuel system, pain to tune, drive line is done the list is long.

Bore the 6.0L block .030 over and go with the stock crank, forged rods, and forged pistons. Build it for boost and adjust the wastegate accordingly. 
After seeing how much power some guys are making on smaller BUILT 348's at reasonable boost levels I think a forged 370ci motor with a big turbo could be WICKED.
Of course a bigger displacement motor will make more power on pump gas but, unless you're truely insane like parish8
