Default Descreening?

Thinking of descreening the MAF. Anyone done this before? Is there any noticable gain in HP? Is descreening worth the hassle? I have the need to speed!

in my opinion, descreening is just a placebo. makes you think you've added power because you've accomplished a mod . second, when i've done it, and it's caused a little detonation at the top end. but hey, try it and if you like it, more power to ya...but keep the screen and don't screw it up.

p.s. i'm working on my seventh coat of wax for less wind resistance. power to the sugar pill

the screen is there to give a more accurate airflow reading to the MAF, its not for restriction. You might get what 1hp?

the manual says leave it in..i would
+ the stock MAF can take alot of power.
