Default Deleting rear O2 sensors

I need to get my emissions done but my check engine light was on bc of my aftermarket y-pipe didn't have the bungs for the rear o2 sensors. last week I went and had the rear o2 sensors deleted from a tube shop. The check engine light was off for a couple days and then came back on. I went to vauto zone to have them scan it and all the codes are coming back to the rear o2s aren't working. Am I mistaking when I thought deleting the rear 02s would be a permanent fix to this problem? Or does it only delete them long enough to go straight to the emissions checker?

whats a tube shop? I assume you mean tune shop. Or had it tuned. If they used any kind of tuning software to turn them off then they are off. It sounds like they only cleared the codes.

yea tune shop, stupid auto spell. the guy at auto zone said its the left and right banks that are throwing the codes and and all the codes are the ones that get read by the rear o2's. looks like i gotta call the TUNE shop again and figure out exactly what they did. i'll be pissed if they only cleared the codes bc they charged me $50.

B0710 is what should be set to DISABLE if you can see what they are doing.

The guy that did it is supposed to be the best in az. I would think he knew what he was doing when I said i needed my rear o2s deleted.

+1 to this, if it was disabled, it wouldn't come back.
