are the LaPole's a direct bolt-on or is cutting and welding required ??....either way is fine with me but the direct bolt-on is alot easier

Yelo, I'm willing to bet the require the cutting and welding. I think the only ones that don't are basically all lumped together as 'shorties'...

yea the reason i asked if anyone had a picture is b/c the one on the PV Muffler site seems very small almost as if they were shorties. I bet in person they seem alot bigger. If anyone does have another pic, i'd sure like to see it.

No cutting at all, from what I remember, LG installed them, they loved them as they bolted right up to the factory pipes to the cats. THey are good lengh, not long tube but they worked well for me so far.

i talked to John over at sshotrods.com
he has the LaPoles and said they didn't bolt up like shorties.

I'm thinking about getting Lapoles I talked to him today. what do you guys think? I have a 03 but I took the little 5.3 out and put a 03 vette 5.7 in it... thing flies...... think Lapoles whould be good to put on the vette motor with the big primary tubes?

those lapoles don't bolt the the stock flange...if they do then they are shorties....they are longer than the shorties though. i have the hamms and they required welding but i had a complete system built when i put them on.
