a 90mm TB just about flows 1000cfm. Besides, I want to run a filter element with a cowl hood and a sheetmetal underside and I can't get that with a DBW 90mm TB.

I guess I might just convert to cable. The set-up I've worked on since the first time I had a Vic Jr should be sick.

I can't open the attachment on this computer... but I'd really like to see what you're working on.

SS_Bnoon_SS, that is a great idea however if the engine heat transfers to that fiberglass it will cause it to warp and become brittle.

Hummmmm, perhaps you're right. Maybe some high heat poly-carb or polystyrene resin???

IMO I think modifying a Drop Base Carb air cleaner would be easiest, using something like this

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Or if you have access to a welder make the adapter out of steel.....

Damn, that's what I was looking for but could never find! AWSOME!!! I already have an old Moroso drop base assembly from years ago to use along with the linked adapter. The drop base does have quite a bit more room under it to fit the high throttle body too. Click => ordered!!!

I looked at that piece too, they have a nice set-up for carbs that I wanted to run with that 4bbl TB also.
