Default DBW and DBC TB's?

Ok swapping out my lq4 in my 01 1500HD for a lq9
The lq4 has dbc and the lq9 has dbw
Can I just swap the dbc tb on the lq9 motor?
If so would anything else need to be done?
Thanks!

Yes you can. You can reuse your stock intake manifold if it doesn't have the bracket to mount the cables. Would be a good time to upgrade to the nnbs intake but you would have to fab your own bracket to mount the cables

Yes. Depending on the year of the donor engine, it might not have some of the emmisions stuff that yours has

you need to use your current tb and fuel rail. easiest thing to do is just to reuse your complete old intake. they are the same

Use the DBC and an adapter plate to mount to the new intake if needed. Depending on if the mounting plate on the new intake has 3 mounting bolts or 4.

I did this swap between a 01 DBC and 03 DBW and it went together without a hitch. My coworker thought we would run into issues doing that, but the dude is old school and doesn't like messing with modern vehicles due to all the computers and wiring.
