I'm interested also I can't turn off my headlights at night but the DRL are diffrent from your lights I think. I thought I remeber someone saying that you could take it to the dealership or something and they would fix it.

my brother pushes his e-brake down 1 notch, it doesnt set the brake but the drl's go off. to get headlights off you have to push that button on the left of the dash that says override. it turns off your interior light but it can also turn off your driving lights

why not just install a small switch? open the circuit when you want the lights disabled, and close the switch when you actually want to use them.

Yeah, just press that overide dome light button three times to cut off your headlights and dash lights.

is it 3 or 4 times? not sure but I know I can just run the parking lights after I do that, you know , like we used to do in the old days

I've seen a lot of 1 eyed Chevy trucks on daytime running lights. 1 of mine went out so I took the other bulb out. Damn, that was a long time ago.

its a 98 truck you guys, the truck doesnt have the same kind of drls as us. What i did in my old truck is pull out the fuse from under the dash that says "running lamps" or something like that.

There's different ways to do it for different years. Here's a link that might help: http://www.lightsout.org/disable.html

Good luck!

Default The parking brake will disable them.

Just push the parking brake in one click. You should not be dragging them with one or 2 clicks.
