Thanks for the words of encouragement guys....

The heads should be really easy to do because they are already assembled...all I have to do is bolt them on and put the rockers on, the cam is the harder of the two but with the heads off it should prove to be pretty easy. I hope to get it done in one day.....I've done cam swaps in small-blocks before in under 8 hours and this is gonna be MUCH simpler than that so I hope to do it on a Friday and be driving it by Saturday morning

 

You should be able to if you dont take too many breaks. The springs is what killed us. If you are changing the timing chain and oil pump make sure you stick a rag in the oil pan underneath the oil pump to catch the bolt that slipped in there on us and does so on many cam swaps that Ive read about.

 

I knew that was coming!!!....and didn't I read somewhere that Blownchevy claimed to...."have better things to do then try to start **** all day"...or something along those lines???
