yeh I have no experience with it, that's why i asked as a dumb question. I did my swap with the 6.0 pcm swapped, so iwas working with all 6.0 stuff.

Cool, if it fires right up with the 5.3 for one person it should for others!

Make sure you have the left bank coil pack harness to the left bank and not vise versa

It's happened before and caused a similar symptom...it's worth a shot

is that even possible????? i thought it was clear which wires when where based on length of the harness

Like I said, "did you swap intakes", could have a serious vacum leak!

lol no i know i have HUGE vacume leak... intake came with the engine but took it off to drop the engine in... like i posted earlier.... I didnt tighten half the intake bolts...that is prolly why it isnt starting... but still think i have some electrical issues due to the fact the truck dies when i try to start it when its not on jumpers but 3 seconds later kicks back on and i have more than enough juice to start the truck

Have you tried spraying carb. cleaner into the t/b while cranking it? Maybe you don't have the fuel you think you have. What year 6.0 is it? I'm asking because of the intake differences and the fuel rail / reg. differences. It's one of those things that you "need to be there" to help with!!

well the 6.0 is a 2003... but i used the fuel rail that came with the engine...... do you think it could possibly be a ground.... not sure if it would even turn over if not.... i get what your saying about not enough fuel... the shake like its going to start tells me that their is some kind of firing going on.... im just stumped cuz an 93 octane tune for a 5.3 should surly give out enough fuel to fire a stock 6.0

if you have a spark tester (the safe way to do it) you can unplug the plug and hook it up. turn the motor over and see if the plug is sparking as a bunch of air is coming out of the cylinder with the plug undone. if the spark is just in a random interval than you're timing is terribly off. Really the shaking is usually caused by the motor compressing the gas and it actually firing off a little due to compression. It sounds like it's horribly out of timing. At least you're not using an HEI or points type distributor lol.
