D-max intercooler going in tommorow!!!

The OBX intercoolers are bigger than that bro. Those #s are just for the core.
Mine measures
30.5" outlet to outlet
13" top bolt to bottom bolt
3" deep
Here is a pic of it in my truck with the air damn off.

It's not a tiny unit. But I fear it by itself may not be large enough to support your HP level. I think it is rated at 800HP but who knows for sure. You might check with some of the guys in the FI forum that are running it.

Mike, you want your truck higher anyway, so lets save the $700 on the HD front and get the $100 3" body lift. It'll fit then for sure, and your truck would look a little better.
We can just hang the cab of the truck from come-alongs in the car port. LOL j/k.
Really we can do it in a day at the shop. Just use the lift.
I'm just going to notch my frame for mine to drop in.
Parish, where do you find those intercoolers that cheap? I need one for my Blazer.

So I looked over a D-max next to 6.0L on Friday night (I wasn't able to open the hoods) the trucks were all locked. On the HD's it looks like everything is ready for the IC to slide right betweent the AC and Radiator, there is already a gap and everything. I looked under the truck but could not see any piping anywhere. I was not able to make it up to my buddy's this weekend, but he told me the intercooler ins/outs are at the bottom, pointing directly into the engine bay, which should fit well with the way the ProCharger is mounted, it should be a pretty easy fit into an HD. Hopefully this coming weekend I will find out for sure.
Heffdaddy007 - He is not parting it (beside it's an 03', no bulged hood), I'm just gonna use it to compare and test fit and then buy my own parts. Basically its just a wrecked frame, with a complete driveline from the tranny forward.

i was just looking at those obx intercoolers. i think i can fit 2 of them in the front of my truck and they are not too expensive. 3x11.75x21 core for $275 each.
