Don't forget to re-tune to take full advantage of that monster of an IC.

I'll be selling my injectors as soon as I get my 6.0L in. Might be a few months though. If you still need em by then I'll sell.

When I swapped my ATI cooler for a bigger unit, my air/fuel ratio went from 11.7/1 to 10.5/1, so a retune is a must.

I don’t get why more people don’t go for the D-max intercooler. Its cheep frigging Huge and a direct fit. I guess it makes too much sense and that’s why we cut and fit other intercoolers.

I don't see how it is a direct fit at all. I looked into my radiator area and there is no way in hell one would fit into mine without relocating other coolers and stuff. Plus I'd be worried about airflow to my already taxed radiator with these stupid electric fans.

So would there be any concern with lag in a setup like mine? I am running a 9psi Procharger in a 2500HD with the little ATI cooler under the bumper. I would love to put a D-max cooler in especially if it's basically a bolt in, just for piece of mind and to get my off road capability back with out worrying about trashing the cooler. I bet I could safely run more boost too I'm thinking an 11 PSI pulley would be easily do able with that big ole thing.

Look at a D-max side by side your truck and you will see it is a direct fit. The D-max does have a higher capacity radiator (as all HD's do).

Wierd, doesn't look like it to me without relocating at least the oil cooler. Otherwise nothing will fit between it and the radiator. Either way I doubt it's as much work as fabbing in an IC like the one I have.

The main concern is have you seen any results with one yet?

I logged before and after airflow with my bigger cooler and gained flow throughout the rpm range no lag to fill the increased airspace at all. My 60' also went from 1.91 to 1.80 with the swap.

Will the intercooler cool the charge down enough sitting behind the radiator? Are the Duramax trucks setup that way? Would it hurt anything to run an intercooler in front of the tranny cooler and power steering cooler? I'm asking so many questions because I'm having a hard time choosing which IC I want to run, and I really don't want to moddify to much in that area.
