My 99 chevy P/U. Its a 2004 Corvette LS6 conversion, Cam only, 4L80 conversion, 3800 converter, and 4.10 gears. I decided to up the power with a ProCharger D1. It was a satin finish, had Relics and Rides out of Little Rock polish it, took Rick 1 hour to polish the Pro Charger and the brackets for $80.00 hell of a deal. We started the install today and this is what we ended the day with. Its not complete but I did drive it home. Its bypassing the boost right now as I'm still waiting on the new fuel pump and my gauges, should be here monday or tuesday. Once installed then we can get to the tuning. We are looking for 500 rw with around 10 psi. We put it on the dyno friday for a base line and it put down 389 rw with the 3800 converter unlocked. We might try to pull air from inside the fender. I don't like the way it sucks the engine heat. We didn't have time to mess with it today. I just wanted to get it on the truck and running. The kit is not made for the ls6 intake and that caused all sorts of problems with the pulleys so I had to make some custom idlers. We could not find the correct size belt in a 6 rib so after several belts and several hours we ended up using a 8 rib belt and had to cut two ribs off. It was not a bolt on type deal for sure. I'm really going to have to be careful with the I/C that bitch is low. Special thanks to my boy Kris @ KK Performance.

Your set up is similar to mine. I'm swapping to the new Edelbrock XT manifold soon. The problem is the belt is so close to the tb that it will touch at high speed and actually throw the belt and that sucks changing it with a Procharger!
Got to make a couple of passes first so I have some kind of comparson but I'll have to remember to take an extra belt and the wrenches..............

Trying to figure out a solution for the I/C. It's only about 2" above where my air dam sits and i've scratched the hell out it. The belt lay out fits like a glove, no issues there. It been that close since the LS6 install.

Just wait till it starts puking out all kinda nasty from tthe bypass valve.. My next move is going to route the bypass down out under the truck.. If you could find a used AEM kit for cheap, you can make it work nice.. Thats what I did..Of course you have it set up different since you have the ls6 intake, the IC mounted different then I do..

How much does a procharger kit cost?
